About Us
ANKAA Project, a manufacturer of clothes and bags, has a career opportunity available for a Tailor.
This position is full time – 5 days per week.
The role will be responsible to sew bags and clothes, cut the fabric and make alterations to patterns. The desired profile will have:
Main Responsibilities:
Very experienced in sewing both elastic and steady fabrics on professional sewing machines and overlock machines.
Prepare and cut batches of fabric according to the patterns.
Be able to read and understand patterns and understand the construction of a product.
Maintain the workshop area organised and tidy.
Monitor the level and condition of all the tailoring equipment, making sure that stock level and condition are enough for daily activity.
Technical Competencies:
At least 3 years of practical experience as tailor
Organisational skills and understanding of priorities
Attention to detail
Fluent in English or Greek
Desired qualifications:
Experience in pattern making
Ability to deliver high quality products within strict deadlines
Able to work independently
